Instructor Bio:
Nicholas Cohen, MD is a board-certified family physician passionate about helping people live longer through an optimized lifestyle. And he practices what he preaches. An avid cook and foodie, he enjoys standing (not sitting), hiking, biking, stand-up paddle boarding, climbing, and backcountry skiing.
Nick received his undergraduate degree from Wesleyan University, with a major in philosophy. He joined the U.S. Army after graduation, and became a U.S. Army Ranger and paratrooper, with the 82nd Airborne Division. After an honorable discharge, he received his medical degree from NYU School of Medicine. He completed his residency in Family Medicine at Case Western Reserve University (CWRU).
After residency, he became an Assistant Professor in the Department of Family Medicine. In this role, he partnered with AmeriCorps, to establish a health coaching program. He moved to San Francisco in 2019 to establish HealthScore, and continues to direct the program from his current residence in Lake Tahoe, California.
